Sunny Birthday

This has to be one of my favourite Stamping Bella stamps: Izzie had a Daisy. This birthday card was for my cutie niece. She’s coloured with my Prismacolor pencils.
The patterned paper is from October Afternoon’s Thrift Shop collection – those are some happy lookin’ papers! The flower is fashioned using my StampinUp! scalloped circle punch, and the leaves are made with one of their punches also. Life was so shallow before I discovered punches!
Thanks for looking ;)

Colourful Wedding Card

Made this card for a colleague who recently returned to work on a Monday and surprised everyone by announcing she had married. I put much thought into making something that would suit her personality.
The funky patterned paper is by Crate Paper...love it! I ran a a scrap of paper through my swiss dot Cuttlebug folder and a piece of patterned paper through my new (and favourite) StampinUp! Vintage Wallpaper folder. I think the sentiment stamp is by Inkadinkado but it wasn't mine - sorry. I used an EK Success heart punch and border punch to finish off. Thanks for looking ;)

Love these cute little pooches! ("butch and mimi" by Stamping Bella) I coloured 'em using Prismacolor pencils and gamsol.
This is a simple layout, using a pretty plaid paper by We R Memory Keepers, an EK Success border punch and some taffeta ribbon I had kicking around. I still haven't mastered the picture-taking part of blogging about my cards (lookin' kinda washed out) but I keep playing around so eventually I'll get it right (uh...I hope).

I did it!!
I created this blog eons ago and haven't done anything other than play around with the picture and title. But today, I bit the bullet and took a (mediocre - must master this) picture of a card I created. This was my 2009 family Christmas card. It's time to start making plans for this year's.

I coloured this image by Stamping Bella ("frosty") with Prismacolor pencils and gamsol. I added lots of glitter - that you can't see!! - and used a Martha Stewart snowflake punch with a tiny, clear snowflake and gem to embellish. The patterned paper is Cosmo Cricket, and the cardstock at the top is embossed in a Sizzix folder.

Not your typical Christmas colour combo, but it made my eyes happy. The paper and stamp came from my happiest place on earth (my lss) The Paper Pickle!
